AOLPRESS
Aolpress is an old version of a WYSIWYG web editor. Are there better programs
out there? Absolutely not! There are programs that will do more or have more
features, but not better. Aolpress is like an old Toyota truck it will get
you there and you don't have to worry about it breaking down. Aolpress was
originally started by AOL but soon dropped for the namby pamby online editors
used in Blogs today. AOL no longer supports the software but you can find
it, and forums related to it's use all over the net. Nobody yet has built
a better or more capable editor.

WSFTPLE
WSFTPLE is the software that takes the file from your computer and puts it
on the net. A file on your computer can be seen only by you. WSFTP allows
you to place a copy of your webpage(s) on a server that allows the netizens
to see it. Some of the free webspace places have their own FTP software.
But if you get your own domain or need more features WSFTP is for you. It
is also free.

IMAGE EDITORS
If you want custom graphics for your website you will have to draw them.
the Paint program that comes with Windows is useless. Many folks can not
justify paying out a lot of case for Paintshop Pro or Adobe. Therefore we
suggest several free programs that do what these programs do without draining
your pocketbook.

WEBSPACE
So now you will need some webspace. There are tons of places on the net for
you to get free webspace. The most well known is CJHOST.

Now CJHOST is free but they do make you place their ads on your pages. This
is a pain in the patootie for your visitors. How about your own domain name?
There is a site on the net called Doteasy, and there for a small fee of $25.00
you get a free website and a domain name of your choice Domain name
means your website would be...www.yournamehere.com. That isn't $25 a month
either it is $25.00 a year.

But you'll learn HTML and building a webpage right on the hard drive of your computer. Webspace is something you can find later it isn't important now. But look around and see what you like.
