STEP 1)
The first thing you need to do to sign up for a free wepage is to go to: http://www.cjhost.com/ There are other free website hosts but this is the one we'll use right now. You may find a free wepage host you like better and you can change at any time.

STEP 2)
At the top of the page you will find this line:

Click on Sign Up

STEP 3)
Near the bottom of the page you were brought to by clicking Sign Up you will find this area:

Enter any name you want to use in that box. You will see above we used maynardville (use lower case letters). Click Go. If the name you entered is available you will go to the next page.

STEP 4)
On this page just fill out the information completely being sure to use a good email address as this is how you will get your account. Fill out the whole form and in the box below be sure to select Personal:

It's a little more than half way down the page.

Then remember the security code at the bottom of the form:

In the example I show above I would enter 813943 in the box the number beside you box will be different.

Click Continue.

STEP 5)
You are now taken to a page that tells you that your confirmation has been sent to your email address. Go ahead and click Continue and you will be taken to a page with this in the middle of it:

Check your email for an email from:

Open this email and look inside for your Authorization key.

Enter this key on the page you are currently on in the box we just showed you. Then click CONFIRM.

STEP 6)
After hitting Confirm you are told that your account information has just been emailed to you. The email in your box will look similar to this:

VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!
OPEN THIS EMAIL AND PRINT IT! It contains the information you need to upload your webpages!

Congratulations you now have a website! Blank yes, but a website.
